Founder profile
Aaryaveer Jatia
A 14-year-old Mumbai-based student entrepreneur and competitive tennis player. Founder of AJ Sports Academy and MatchUp.
Entrepreneurship
Aaryaveer's work brings together sport and entrepreneurship. He founded AJ Sports Academy, registered in 2026, and MatchUp, a platform that helps players find sports partners.
The academy focuses on structured junior tennis opportunities. MatchUp addresses a related challenge: finding someone compatible to play with. These are distinct projects connected by an interest in making participation easier to organise.
Tennis
Alongside his work as a student entrepreneur, Aaryaveer is a competitive tennis player. Tennis is the starting point for his work on junior match opportunities and player connections.
